Anastasia, tell us more about yourself and your journey in coffee

I’m the Shift and Coffee Fulfillment Lead at Bean & Bottle. I’ve worked in the industry since 2015 and fell in love with the way coffee provides community in many shapes and forms.

So Bean & Bottle Coffee…what’s your place like?

We’re a small shop located in Hedwig Village, Texas. Our coffee is Locally Roasted by our Coffee Director and his best friend, who started roasting in a toaster oven out of their dorm at college.

Here we are many years later serving this amazing coffee in our very own small shop. It has a wonderful ambiance we’re very big on being a gathering place for all.

Why I Love Latte

Latte is my favorite coffee to drink and make! Well-steamed milk is such a game-changer! Learning milk science was such a big help and learning from those seasoned in the coffee world has helped me now make the perfect latte.

What is your home coffee setup like?

I would love to have a commercial-grade machine right now and a personal favorite is the Synesso s200. If I had that I’d be able to serve my friends and family amazing coffee out of the comfort of my own home.

What other Houston Coffee Shops are worth a visit beyond Bean & Bottle?

Blacksmith 100% hands down.

Where’s the best coffee shop you’ve ever visited?

Fidel & Co as it provides such a comforting ambiance and the churro latte is always on my road trip list. The staff are so kind and the food is amazing. I love their Lox bagel!

Is there anything else you’d like to share with our CoffeeOtter readers?

Right now we have a limited coffee we’re serving on Brotherly. It’s a Guatemala Finca Esmeralda and is a light-med Natural Process Central America coffee that really highlights Brotherly and Bean & Bottle.

Where can people find Bean & Bottle Houston?

We’re at 9655 Katy Fwy Suite 100, Houston, TX 77024

Thanks so much, Anastasia, we can’t wait to visit you and the team at Bean & Bottle again soon!
