So tell us more about Social House Cafe Brooklyn
Social House Cafe is conveniently situated in Williamsburg, just a stone’s throw away from Domino Park and Peter Luger’s. Our local café celebrated its 4th anniversary on March 9th.
Operating as a cozy café and coffee haven during the day, we transform into a vibrant wine bar by night.
It’s a great place for people to indulge in our daily brunch, featuring our most popular items such as the Croissantwich Sandwich, Nutella Latte, Lavender Mimosas, and enticing Espresso Martinis.
Our ambiance is an Italian Art Deco-inspired setting, adorned with captivating Art Deco artwork throughout. So whether you’re seeking a comfy spot for chats with friends or a lively place to socialize and hang out, our venue caters to both. According to our baristas, we proudly stand as the Social Hub of South Williamsburg!
We also extend our offerings beyond our physical cafe and coffee shop space. We offer catering services, delivering our treats to doorsteps across New York.
For nearby buildings, we set up pop-up espresso bars and we’re the ideal venue for birthday parties and private events.
How to make the perfect Cinnamon Crunch Latte
My favorite coffee-based drink we serve is a Cinnamon Crunch Latte and I really enjoy making it myself.
Our Cinnamon Crunch Latte Recipe is made with high-quality cinnamon, Italian espresso, and equal par milk. Then add some cinnamon dolce syrup & garnish it with real cinnamon crunch cereal.
It’s an amazing drink!
What other Brooklyn Coffee Shops are worth a visit?
VilaBate in Bensonhurst is one of the best Brooklyn coffee shops and a favorite place of mine. Their espresso is imported directly from Italy & the pastries they serve are amazing & fresh.
Which coffee shops worldwide would be on your bucket list of places to go to?
It might surprise you but I’d say Starbucks Reserve because their concept is so different from their usual offering. They have coffee shops in Seattle, Chicago, here in New York, Shanghai, Tokyo, and Milan.
They serve unique coffee creations, cocktails, and artisan food from these boutique stores.
What Is your home coffee setup like?
I currently use a single Sanremo Italian Espresso Machine, which I find makes the perfect cup of coffee at home.
Is there anything else you’d like to share with our CoffeeOtter readers?
On a personal note, I have a profound appreciation for the rich and nuanced flavors of European-style espresso. I earnestly hope that over time, New York coffee shops will rediscover and embrace the distinctive taste palette reminiscent of true Italian espresso.
The toasty, nutty tones characteristic of this traditional brewing method hold a special place in my heart, and I believe they add an unmatched depth to the coffee experience. Here’s to savoring the timeless allure of European espresso in the bustling coffee culture of New York City!
